Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar Installation - 2015 Ford F-53- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Ox Avail tow bar on a 2015 Ford F-53 Motorhome chassis. Now there's five main components required for flat towing your Equinox down the road, and we'll start on the vehicle side and that's gonna start with the base plate. And that attaches to the frame of the vehicle and gives us the structural mounting point for the rest of our connections. And the connecting point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV is gonna be your tow bar, and that's your second component. Again, this is the physical attachment, basically like the coupler of your trailer. This is what is going to pull this down the road. more

Well neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the etrailer SD Tow Bar on a 2023 Ford F53 Motorhome Chassis. Now there's five main components required when flat towing your Wrangler, and starting on the vehicle side we have our base plate that attaches to the frame of the vehicle, creating a structural mounting point for your tow bar, and all the rest of your components. Your tow bar is the connection point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV. And the base plate also has tabs for our safety cables that we have here. So just like pulling the trailer, you wanna make sure that it doesn't disconnect, and if it was to, you still have these cables holding onto the vehicle. We have diode wiring, which is gonna transmit the light signals from the lights on the RV to the taillights on the towed vehicle, keeping you safe and legal. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2021 Ford F-53 Motorhome, we're gonna be checking out the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar. Before we jump right in, I figured it'd be useful just to kinda refresh ourselves on the main parts we're gonna need to flat tow our Buick down the road in the first place. First part will be the base plate, and that's gonna provide us with a solid and reliable connection point. That way we can hook our tow bar up to it. Tow bar will be the second component. more

So whenever you're choosing a tow bar, it's a really important decision, you know It's responsible for a lot of the work and it's gonna be the thing responsible for pulling your vehicle down the road behind your motor home. So you want to get one that you can live with, you know, and that's gonna be easy to use and everything else. And when it comes to tow bars, the Nighthawk is probably on the top of my list, it's one of my favorites. It's top on line, more or less, you know, no way around it really. more

RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2019 Ford F-53- Video
Hi there, Ford owners. Today on your 2019 Ford F-53 chassis motor home, We're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmasters Falcon 2 tow bar. And this is what our tow bar looks like when it's installed. This is going to be an entry-level tow bar from Roadmaster, but it's gonna be able to get the job done with a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. That should be more than enough for just about any smaller SUV or car that you're gonna wanna hook up to it. Now, if you happen to have a truck like an F-250 or something that is larger with a higher weight capacity, then I would recommend upgrading to a higher weight capacity tow bar, such as Roadmaster's Nighthawk with an 8,000 pound capacity. more

Hi there, motorhome owners. Today, on your 2021 Ford F-53 chassis motorhome, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Nighthawk tow bar. These are available in two options, depending on the base plate you have. If you have a Roadmaster base plate, you'll wanna get the regular Roadmaster option that will connect directly to a direct connect Roadmaster base plate. If you have a Blue Ox base plate, then I would recommend getting the Blue Ox version, which is gonna have all the same features but it's gonna have the Blue Ox ends on there, so it'll connect directly to your Blue Ox base plate. And it's probably my top pick, especially if you're gonna be going with a direct connect solution. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Ford F-53 motor home, we're going to be checking out the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar. Before we start talking about the tow bar itself, I figured it'd be useful to kind of touch base and refresh yourselves on what components that we're going to need to flat tow our Jeep down the road safely, so let's go ahead and run through them now. So there's going to be a total of five main components needed to flat tow your Jeep down the road behind your motor home. And there is one other thing that I do highly recommend picking up. It isn't absolutely necessary, but it's definitely beneficial, and that would be a battery charger, or a battery charge line. more
